Leftover T.S. waves, good music, and preparing for College Football Season!

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

First off let me start by informing those of you out in inter-web-ville that I could not entirely figure out the video camera and how to download the “movie” that was created from Hurricane Bill. My apologies, if anyone actually cared….. But hey that’s cool. As for Tropical Storm Danny, the waves were chest to head high, extremely clean, and the waves were open enough to link a couple of turns before the waves fizzled out. Overall, it was a very fun and even rippable day on the East Coast! And man we don’t get enough of those surf dazes around these parts.

The heavies were tearing it up!

The heavies were tearing it up!

As good as the recent surf has been along the East Coast, ya-wanna know what makes good surf even better? How about a live outdoor concert! Yeah, THG and his senorita went to a concert at the beach and it was one of the better concerts I’ve ever seen! I won’t tell you who I saw but follow the link and see the performers. The show was tight and when you can wake up walk across the street the day after a show and go surf head high waves you know you must be doing something right….

Okay, so THG is going to do  a little tailgating this upcoming college football season! The plan will be to highlight a college football game during the week, give a game prediction, some tips for tailgating, and of course some recipes for the “Game of the Weekend” (no Thursdays games here) that are specific for the game geography/location. If any of you out there have some recipes, ideas for featured games, tailgating tips, or the like to leave a comment and it will post for everyone to read. I will be attending some select games this season (just have to select them first) and THG will figure out the video camera to post some videos as I act as a tailgating correspondent. Yeah a lot of people should get a big kick out of that! You done, Eat!
